The Three Orders of Eternal Communion
1. FIND AND FOLLOW THE PATH OF GOODNESS
Doctrine of the First Order:
Each person has
the right and obligation
to determine what is good,
according to their own
principles and beliefs,
and to govern themselves accordingly.
Do not interfere
with the rights of others.
And do not run afoul of the law.
Everything else is personal choice.
2. CELEBRATE COMMUNION WITH OTHERS
Doctrine of the Second Order:
We are unique
among living creatures,
each possessing
some splinter
of the divine.
But each holds
a different splinter.
Only by seeing
many of the splinters
can we glimpse the whole.
So only through
communion with others
can we gain enlightenment
into divinity.
3. BE ENLIGHTENED
Doctrine of the Third Order:
The ability to reason
determines one's position
on the spectrum between
the animal and the divine.
Seek enlightenment
Wherever it may be found.

The Church of the Eternal Communion was founded based on the belief that it is disingenuous for any religion to preach that they have an exclusive handle on what God is about, and that all the other religions have got it wrong. That mentality leads to religious-based conflicts, which the world already has too many of. So as a “Supplemental Religion,” we encourage our members to practice any additional religions they may wish, in keeping with the 3 Orders. By celebrating Communion with people of differing beliefs, we all gain Enlightenment as we travel along the Path of Goodness.
